The weights of the seafood shown on YSSeafood.my are gross weights (before cleaning, descaling and removal of internal organs). After descaling & gutting the seafood, the weight of seafood will reduce around 15%-30%

  • Wild-caught seafood / vacuum-packed and refrigerate / Descaled & gutted / All 1kg & above fishes will be sliced

大竹鲛鱼 (Narrow-barred Spanish Mackerel / Ikan Tenggiri Batang )


鲛鱼肉质鲜甜口感嫩爽,营养丰富,是富含高蛋白低脂肪的优质海产;鲛鱼尾巴的味道特别好,物美价廉。马六甲海峡可捕获三种鲛鱼——马鲛、竹鲛、板鲛,其中以大竹鲛鱼肉质扎实,煮汤首选。大竹鲛鱼富含提高人脑智力的DHA元素和大量蛋白质、氨基酸以及钙、铁、钠等微量元素,还具有提神和防衰老等食疗功效。其鱼肉风味独特煎炸爆炒样样都适合,也可腌制;鲜食时可清蒸、油炸、炒鱼片;若用鱼肉煲粥或煎煮为汤,则色味清美,甜滑可口。

Sweet and tender, mackerels are tremendously nutritious, with an abundance of protein and very little fats. Not only are they delicious, but they are also affordable. Three kinds of mackerels can be found in the Strait of Malacca: narrow-barred Spanish mackerel, king mackerel and spotted Spanish mackerel. Among them, the flesh of narrow-barred Spanish mackerel does not separate easily into flakes, which makes it the best choice for soup dishes. It is rich in DHA, which improves brain function. It also contains plenty of protein and amino acid as well as trace minerals such as calcium, iron and sodium. Moreover, the consumption of narrow-barred Spanish mackerel increases your energy levels and slows down the aging process. With its unique taste, it can be made into delectable pan-fried, deep-fried, steamed and pickled dishes. It also provides a sweet twist when added into soup or porridge.
